One would think since all the permanent residents of the Garden City Cemetery are peacefully resting, there would not be any problems. Alas, the bounteous rains have stimulated grass and weed growth of unusual proportions, causing distress to the familial visitor.

Well, as in all things, it pays to read the fine print. The county is only responsible for maintaining the areas outside the individual plots. The County does, however, provide the following suggestions for individual plot maintenance.
1. Pave or the top or cover in concrete
2. Cover with plastic and a layer of rocks
3. Use and herbicide such as Roundup
Whatever happened to perpetual maintenance?
